Texas A&M eBeam Center Hosts African Science Teachers as Part of IAEA-Argonne Training Course

It was a pleasure to host a group of science teachers from African countries this morning at Texas A&M National Center for Electron Beam Research. The visit was part of the Joint IAEA-Argonne Regional Training Course for Teachers and Educators to introduce nuclear sciences in seconds schools through innovative approaches in Africa, they learned about the benefits of eBeam/X-ray technology and their contributions to the health, agriculture, environment and industry sectors.

It was a real pleasure meeting up with experts like Paloma Richard from the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) at the US booth at this event.

It was an honor to have Shanker Reddy, Ph.D. From the USDA stop by the National Center for Electron Beam Research - Texas A&M University last week. It was a pleasure discussing the different projects we are involved in and how the work we do at NCEBR is “cleaning, healing, feeding, and shaping” the world we live in and improving our abilities to be a multi planetary species.

 

TTEK - Tetra Tech Selected to Design and Test Mobile Treatment Technology for PFAS-Impacted Soils and Sediments

The NCEBR is extremely honored to partner with TetraTech to deploy eBeam technology for environmental applications. The first target application is PFAS destruction which will then be followed by several other environmental applications. NCEBR is the world leader in advancing eBeam applications all around the world and TetraTech is a world leader in environmental remediation and consulting. A big shout out to Purshotam Juriasingani, PE, CEM for being the evangelist to see the value of this technology and push for adoption by the industry. eBeam Hands-on Workshop at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Our Laboratory Manager Katherine Daugherty attended the EBeam Hands-on Workshop at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, hosted by Vinatom and Vinagamma. She was able to visit two incredible EBeam/Gamma facilities and performed hands-on dose mapping and energy testing at Vinagamma.
