Texas A&M eBeam Center Hosts African Science Teachers as Part of IAEA-Argonne Training Course

It was a pleasure to host a group of science teachers from African countries this morning at Texas A&M National Center for Electron Beam Research. The visit was part of the Joint IAEA-Argonne Regional Training Course for Teachers and Educators to introduce nuclear sciences in seconds schools through innovative approaches in Africa, they learned about the benefits of eBeam/X-ray technology and their contributions to the health, agriculture, environment and industry sectors.

eBeam technologies harnessed for environmental remediation of forever chemicals

Dr. Suresh Pillai had the honor to present his vision on how eBeam technologies can be harnessed for environmental remediation of organic pollutants especially the forever chemicals such as pfas/pfos/pfoa and other pollutants that threaten our health and well being.This event was held in Washington DC December 2-6, 2024.
